After a weekend journey to one of my favorite spots, Whistler/Blackcomb British Columbia, I came away very impressed with the ski conditions. Although they have less snow than last year, the snow that they have is very very good and I would highly recommend booking a trip up there. Flights are cheap, airline prices have dropped and the slopes are not crowded...these are all positive things for a ski or snowboard vacation.
As always you can book your Whistler Ski Rentals here!
Looking to ski somewhere in the states? My next recommendation is Aspen Colorado. With four resorts in one town and the lift tickets good at all locations it is a lot cheaper then you would think. Plus the conditions have been improving with snow falling every day this week. For your Aspen Ski Rentals go here.

Park City Snow Show!
Is the 2008/2009 ski season going to mirror the 2007/2008 ski season? I hope so. After another slow start it has started to snow again and it doesn't seem to let up which is great news for all skiers and riders this winter. Book your Colorado or Utah ski vacation today b/c the lodging deals are out of this world, less people are traveling (meaning less competition on the slopes) and we have tons of snow....this is the perfect formula. Do you need Deer Valley Ski Rentals or Beaver Creek Ski Rentals? Leave those old 190cm skis at home and ski on some new demo skis in all our new powder! You will be thankful!

Waiting Games
All we can do is wait, pray and hope that the high pressure above Utah and Colorado will leave and winter will arrive. I will be the first to let you know.

Snow and More Snow!
It seems like mid winter in Park City and Vail this week, as I travel around to get our shops going, I can not stop thinking about hitting the slopes soon. It has snowed in both locations a few times this week. It is always a good sign when the weather pattern is consistently bring snow every few days. Plan your vacations now, we will have the snow!

Snow Butlers
It looks like skiers and riders in Utah might be hitting the slopes soon after Little Cottonwood Canyon received 15" of freshies today, and Main Street in Park City looked like a winter postcard. If the trend continues it could be a great early season (lets keep our fingers crossed). This also means that ski shops, including my own shop, Ski Butlers must get the gear ready for the season. Over the course of the fall and into the winter I will be talking about the skiing, the equipment, our service and any other good info that might make your winter vacation that much better. Look for a new posting every week.
